EUR/USD Analysis [The Euros]

Unread post by immy »

Here I will run EUR/USD Analysis
Including any other euro pairs
#
I'll try my best to continue doing the eWave analysis with charts etc if time permits. I hope others will carry on where I leave stuff and add along, or suggest corrections etc. We all need to keep an account on the daily time frame. Its just so simple ans stress free, does not take much of your time per day and can still help you quadruple your account on a yearly basis.

However, this analysis will cover weeklies to hourlies so we will be able to take informed decision on H1, H4 and D1 which ever is your chosen time frame of trading. Don't hop around time frame to time frame and keep taking trades, that could be counter productive for most.

Re: EUR/USD Analysis

Unread post by immy »

I'll start by sharing a chart of eur/usd weeklies. According to our quick 10s ewave analysis the weekly chart is in wave 4. This wave 4 started at the end of wave 3, and wave 3 seems to have ended on the bar of the week starting 8th of March 2015, which means all the price action on the daily chart since that date is "under the umbrella of wave 4". This means that our wave count on the daily charts would often be confusing where we won't always see a beautiful 1-5 with TZ1 and everything rather truncated wave 5's and all that sort of stuff. e.g. we saw a 3 up after a breakout this month on the daily chart but it soon reversed and now i'm not even sure we should be looking for wave 5 up.

based on the analysis on D1 it appears that the breakout up was a C. I looked under the C and found a perfect 1-5 up using H1 charts.

GBP/USD Analysis [The Pounds]

Unread post by immy »

Here we shall run our Cable (GBP/USD) analysis

Even though I will be doing only cable analysis here, this could lead to looking at other pairs with pound on one side [crosses] such as GBP/JPY and GBP/CAD etc. If you find something you may add to the discussion.

USD/JPY Analysis [YENS]

Unread post by immy »

Here we shall continue our USD/JPY analysis including any other yen pairs

Anyone and Everyone is Requested to Contribute and tag along, move along and push around...

NOTE: If you really want to make informed decisions with proper analysis then you will have to reduce the number of pairs you look at and trade. I like to have a number that is easy for me to memorise. I should be able to recall a daily chart of eur/usd in my mind instantly. If that is not possible I have too much on my mind. But that does not matter, if you can't keep a mental image then you will have to do this analysis daily or on hourly basis again and again. cheers

AUD/USD NZD/USD USD/CAD [The commodity Pairs]

Unread post by immy »

here we shall continue our discussion and analysis of the Commodity pairs
In forex, USD/CAD AUD/USD and NZD/USD are considered commodity pairs.

According to Investopedia,
"In forex, the commodity pairs consist of the heavily-traded currency pairs and contain the Canadian, Australian and New Zealand dollars as part of the pairing. The three commodity pairs are: USD/CAD, AUD/USD, NZD/USD. These pairs are highly correlated to commodity fluctuations in the world markets and are the most heavily traded commodity pairs in forex.

Forex traders often trade these commodity pairs to gain exposure to commodity (especially oil) volatility. Although there are many countries with large natural resource and commodity reserves, such as Russia, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela, the commodities of many of these nations are usually highly regulated by their domestic governments or are thinly traded. The Canadian, Australian and New Zealand dollars are traded at high volumes and are therefore very liquid in the forex market.

So if you don't have Oil and Gold on your platform to trade, worry not, trade these pairs and those markets will be covered indirectly. aha

The cable is as clear as sunny day on the weekly charts. Clearly shoing a wave 5 down. If one was to trade the daily chart and saw this formation on Weeklies they will simply sell there house to sell cable on the daily time frame.

Weekly Chart. See how clear is the wave structure?

GBP/JPY weekly and daily charts are also interesting and worth having a look. The daily chart is below TZ1 now. so we shall where it goes from there
