Hello Everyone,
My name is Greg Bryant and I am excited to be here. I have been trading off and on for about 10 years with really not much to show for it. As most everyone else has experienced, I have had good runs but nothing to sustain the changing markets. I am looking forward to sharing this journey with you all. Your guidance and critiques are greatly appreciated.
My first batch of T20 will be trading Setup 1 off of the M5 charts while verifying with the higher TF for trend direction. Pairs traded will be E/U and A/U since those are the ones I'm most comfortable with. I would really like to replace one with a non-USD pair, however, at this time I'm not there.
Many blessings and pips to all!

Re: Greg's Journal
Hello Greg and Welcome to AIMS Community.
I'd like you to challenge the idea of "that's what I'm comfortable with" ... it does not matter which one you like. What matters is which one gives you more of an edge in the market. AU on the m5 chart is useless imho because it just does not have enough daily range to produce quality moves/setups. EU might be something when the volatility kicks in.
If you have time, then I seriously stress on trading 8 pairs on the h1. If you only have max 2 hrs then EU m5 or if you could DAX M5 as we trade it in the slack group as well, would be ideal..
cheers

Re: Greg's Journal
Immy,
Thank you for the warm welcome. Yes, after your tips about ADR in the chat I have taken your advice and moved away from the AU and also the lower TF. I do believe that the H1 TF will work well as I am taking on this new journey while also working a full-time job. I have the FXCM MT4 and am not seeing the DAX data but would like to follow along with those trades as well. Not for the journal, more for the repetition so that I can see more of the setups while waiting for the H1 journal trades. I will research other MT4 providers to see if I can get the DAX data. Thanks again and I look forward to getting some trades under my belt.

Re: Greg's Journal
;Thats a good decision Greg. If trading the Hourly, really don't need to trade m5 or anything. and if trading hourly don't need to trade dax.. just imho.
