LEO FX journals

Unread post by leo_fx »

Hi everyone, my name is Leo. I am a newbie in Forex. I have just started trading 2 months before. Luckily I found the AIMS trading strategy, which I want to be a successful trader with. I know the path to success is long for me but if I believe I can reach it by trying, AIMS strategy and especially with your help and support. :)

UPDATES:
26/6/2019:
My brief trading plan:
- Pairs: EURUSD, USDJPY, AUDUSD
- TimeFrame: M15 (I prefer intraday trading)
- I trade 2h at one or two of Sydney/London/New York Open session. If it is possible I prefer NeO.
- Only setup 1
- R:R = 1:1 (even my target is TZ1)
- Exit rules: I will exit at 1R (my target line MUST be set before TZ1, if not possible, I will not take the order because it won't worth it).
- I will keep this trading plan 3 months from 20/6/2019 to 20/9/2019 or I finish the T20 (5 batches, 20 trades per batch with DS at least 80%)
My goal is to1. Achieve at least 80% of Trading Discipline Score (Based on T20 Principle) per batch of 20 Trades.2. Achieve at least 70% of the average DS for 5 batches of T20
Growing up my account is not my objective in this stage, so I let a very small balance in my account.
Reward:
When I will sucessfully finish all the tasks outlined above, I will increase my deposit.

If you apply the concepts taught here, you will never blow an account. You will learn the structure of the market and trade successfully as long as you put first things first. And i see you are on the right path. By starting your first T20 , you are well on the best path.

Its all about Discipline and Probabilistic Mindset.

All the best..

Batch 01 - Trade 01

Unread post by leo_fx »

1. Trade Number: B1/T1
2. Date/Time: ‎Thursday, ‎June ‎20, ‎2019, ‏‎9:22:16 PM (NeO session)
3. Symbol/TF: USDJPY/M15
4. Signal Type / Direction : Setup1/down
5. Comments and Feelings at the Time of Taking The Trade:
- Nice red dot, Alligators sleep, correct purple line not so far, not inside ,just above AIMS box; tight box, AO very close to zero line. My prediction that it would be a start of wave 5 because of a very high peak before (wave 3) and following correction (wave 4). --> feel quite confident to open a pending short right at the bottom level of the box.
- Just manually set stop loss right the upper level (plus spread already)
- R/R = 1:1 just follow the T20 for the first stage.
- In the beginning, I was seeing the price action and was feeling a bit nervous when price pullback and may pending was not activated.
- After order activation, I was feeling more confident and I did not see the price movement. I let setup run its way because I believe it will work.
6.Comments and Trades After Exiting the Trade:
Awesome!!! Target was hit. I grab the first DS.
7. DS For this Trade: 1
8. DS Running Total: 1/1 (100%)

Batch 1 - Trade 2

Unread post by leo_fx »

1. Trade Number: B1/T2
2. Date/Time: ‎‎Friday, ‎June ‎21, ‎2019, ‏‎5:19:00 AM (Sydney Open session)
3. Symbol/TF: AUDUSD/M15
4. Signal Type / Direction : Setup1/up
5. Comments and Feelings at the Time of Taking The Trade:
- Nice blue dot, Alligators beautifully sleep, correct purple line not so far, not inside, just bellow AIMS box; very tight box, AO very close to zero line. My prediction that it would be a start of wave 5 because of a high peak before (wave 3) and following correction (wave 4). --> feel quite confident to open a short right at the upper level of the box. For this trade, I use eWave 1.0 to see better Elliott waves. eWave is a needed investment I think.
- Just manually set stop loss right the bottom level (plus spread already)
- R/R = 1:1 just follow the T20 for the first stage.
- After opening position, I was feeling nervous becuase I missed pending order, so I took the market order (that is against my strategy).
6.Comments and Trades After Exiting the Trade:
There was a big pullback and the box was too tight, my stop loss hit. I though I would wait for the next box with new blue dot appear instead of taking the market Buy order. My mistake
7. DS For this Trade: 0
8. DS Running Total: 1/2 (50%)

Batch 01 - Trade 03

Unread post by leo_fx »

1. Trade Number: B1/T3
2. Date/Time: ‎‎‎Friday, ‎June ‎21, ‎2019, ‏‎7:18:40 AM (Sydney Open session)
3. Symbol/TF: AUDUSD/M15
4. Signal Type / Direction : Setup1/up
5. Comments and Feelings at the Time of Taking The Trade:
- Nice blue dot (this dot is just after the blue dot in trade 02), Alligators beautifully sleep, correct purple line not so far, not inside, just bellow AIMS box; very tight box, AO very close to zero line. My prediction that it would be a start of wave 5 because of a high peak before (wave 3) and following correction (wave 4). --> feel quite confident to open a Buy pending order right at the upper level of the box. For this trade, I use eWave 1.0 to see better Elliott waves.
- Just manually set stop loss right the bottom level (plus spread already)
- R/R = 1:1 just follow the T20 for the first stage.
- I almost missed this order because the price almost breaks out the box level. But I caught it. I was not feeling nervous because this time I do it follow my strategy compared to trade 02.
6.Comments and Trades After Exiting the Trade:
The target was hit, wow, I was feeling so awesome, it is amazing. When I follow the rules, it works. Well done me.
7. DS For this Trade: 1
8. DS Running Total: 2/3 (67%)

My prediction that it would be a start of wave 5 because of a high peak before (wave 3) and following correction (wave 4). --> feel quite confident to open a Buy pending order right at the upper level of the box.
- Just manually set stop loss right the bottom level

1. Trade Number: B1/T5
2. Date/Time: ‎‎‎‎ ‎June ‎25, ‎2019, ‏‎11:11:41 AM
3. Symbol/TF: EURUSD/M15
4. Signal Type / Direction : Setup1/up
5. Comments and Feelings at the Time of Taking The Trade:
- I see the blue dot, gator sleeps, correct purple line not so far, not inside, just bellow AIMS box; tight box, AO crossed ZL and now is very close to zero line.
- Just manually set stop loss right at the bottom level.
- R/R = 1:1 just follow the T20 for the first stage.
6.Comments and Trades After Exiting the Trade:
SL was hit
7. DS For this Trade: 0
8. DS Running Total: 3/5 (60%)
9. what I have learned from this trade? NEVER take setup 1 when the wave 5 is (or being) created. In addition, NEVER take setup 1 in direction of wave 3 and 5 when I see the divergence of wave 3 and 5 meaning a reversal will follow.

Batch 01 Trade 06

Unread post by leo_fx »

1. Trade Number: B1/T6
2. Date/Time: ‎‎‎‎ ‎June ‎25, ‎2019, ‏‎8:22:26 PM (NeO)
3. Symbol/TF: USDJPY/M15
4. Signal Type / Direction : Setup1/down
5. Comments and Feelings at the Time of Taking The Trade:
- I see the red dot, gator sleeping, correct purple line not so far, not inside, just above AIMS box; not so tight box about 20 pips, AO crossed ZL and now is very close to zero line.
- Just manually set stop loss right at the bottom level.
- R/R <1:1. Because the TZ1 line is too close, so I put the TP line few pips.  above the TZ1
6.Comments and Trades After Exiting the Trade:
SL was hit. Feel a little sad
7. DS For this Trade: 0
8. DS Running Total: 3/6(50%)
9. what I have learned from this trade? NEVER take setup 1 when TZ1 is too close (meaning not enough to set R:R at least = 1:1). in addition, here the box is not tight enough.
