Shinny's 1 Hour Journal

Unread post by shinny »

Hi everybody,

I have just bought this system and would like to document my trades, as I believe this helps to learn.

I am going to begin by trading the 1 Hour time frame, with 5 FX pairs, Oil, Gold, Silver and the Major Indices, a lot I know, but variety is the spice of life!!

Please feel free to comment on any charts I upload.

Thanks

Shinny

Closed Silver Long -44, or -1.34%. Full Stop was 2% or 65 pips, price came down and crossed red and green lines, so just got out.

I have a bracket order to sell also as purple line is in the AIMS.

Gold Short trade (again!!)

Getting chopped a bit, but losses getting cut short.

By its very definition, I am hoping my winning trades take a lot longer, as that means I will be riding the trends.

The old adage is thus "cut losses short, let profits run", well I have certainly cut my losses and when I get some good trades I will let them run!
