Mike in NC - Journal

Unread post by mm80132 »

This is my first week trading with real money. Still sorting out screen shots etc.

The London open was good this morning.
+ 35 + 13 = 48
+6
- 6
+12
Total 60 pips
Now I know that it is possible.

For some reason the VE_AIMS doesn't work with my broker Forex.com. It will set a new SL/Entry value but then it flashes between the old and new value. Then price goes right by the new SL value.

I am looking for an alternative that works at Forex.com.

Thanks Immy. I appreciate all of the work that you have put into this system.

Hi Mike

Sounds like you are having the same problem I had, just make sure that the trade manager is only active on the chart you are trading. If you have it on any other Euro chart even different timeframe it will fight and you get the flashing you describe.

I can still have problem as my trading switches between 3 different PC's and I have to make sure that I have turned off either the TM or the whole platform.

Hope this helps.

Nice 1st day, I unfortunately missed some of the nice early moves but thems the breaks.

Arthur,
Your suggestion resolved the issue. This is great because I like using the VE_AIMS.
Thank you very much.
