The Consistent Pursuit of DS1
The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".
I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.

Batch 1 Trade 1 - How to Keep A Trading Journal
1. Batch and Trade Number: B1T1
2. Symbol and Time Frame: GAB / D1
3. Signal Type: Setup 1
4. Trade Direction: Long
5. Date/Time: Entry: 21/01/2021
6. Entry price:
7. Date/Time Exit: 25/01/2021
8. Exit Price: 625
9. Questions Before Trade is Taken: (I will record these in the form of a video analysis of the trade)
How do I feel before setting the order?
Intuition?
e. g. What is your intuition about this trade? Do you think its a good setup? Do you think it will be a winner? How do you feel internally? Is the technical analysis correct? Is the market really in a good position to go in this direction?
Is this technically The Setup 1?
[This question is entirely focused on the technical analysis side. Is this really a perfectly good setup 1? Is M1 creating the proper setup 1 pattern? Is the M5 Chart (or the 5XHTF) creating the correct corresponding pattern? Gator is open and there is a 4-5 candle pullback? etc]
10. Post Trade Questions:
How Do I feel after closing the trade (or end of the session for Day Traders)?
Have I done well and why?
Have done badly and Why?
What Could I have done differently?

The Setup looked pretty good on the D1 chart and also on the Weekly Chart. I had a feeling we were getting B trapped but had to simply take the trade. There are loads of stocks available to pick and choose and if you end up with a series of losing ones, that's ok. It's just the odds. You will have consecutive losers and then winners. Sadly this is my 2nd losing trade but I remained disciplined and exited when I saw it was not going in my f avour.

2. Symbol and Time Frame: APHA / H1 (Now this is what got me the DS0)
3. Signal Type: Setup 1

I experimented with the idea of finding the 3 Candle pullbacks on the Daily chart. Essetnially I thought, why not trade some hunt signals on the D1 chart. I learned that if I run the Scanner with some modified settings I will be able to catch those pullbacks of the daily chart. I think the daily chart's pullbacks are fresh and usually will have continuation easily. I will mark this trade a DS0 for two reasons.
1. I did not have it my trade plan at the time to trade the hourly charts. Not for this batch.
2. I did not let the trade hit its original SL. Had I stuck to the trade it would have been a fantastic winner.

I now feel that perhaps I was either too early to get out or perhaps I should have continued to pursue this stock and re-entered. The idea is to exit quickly to avoid a bigger loss but if the stock begins to trend again in the same direction we could get back in if its still a valid setup.
Here is what happened to this stock afterwards.

Sunday Analysis - 7 Feb 2020
The Current Status of the 20K Account.
We are down less than a per cent.
We have had a less than ideal start but nothing too drastic.
3 Consecutive losing trades so far. But that's ok. It's part of the game.
Currently running 7 different positions and slightly up. The screenshot below shows the current situation.

9. Questions Before Trade is Taken: (I will record these in the form of a video analysis of the trade)
How do I feel before setting the order? I did not record those feelings at the time of entry. I must create the journal entry as soon as I take entry.
Intuition? I was hoping I'll do this in the form of a viideo before each entry but that seems to be too time consuming. So Instead I will keep a note book handy and record my feelings in brief short sentences.
Is this technically The Setup 1? Absolutely...
10. Post Trade Comments:
Trailed the Candles,
I don't believe in this stock anymore
It's not moving. Maybe it will do what CBRE is
Doing, kick me out then move. But for me,
Risk Management is more important
Revisited:
How Do I feel after closing the trade (or end of the session for Day Traders)? I feel that I have done the right decision. I minimised my risk. This trade had the largest position in the portfolio at the time. I have a feeling that is haunting me that like other ones I might get stopped out and then goes up.
One Weird thing is that I got paid £40 less £6 in dividends.
Have I done well and why? I think so
Have done badly and Why?
What Could I have done differently? No, for now I feel its all good.

After I exited the trade, I posted in the Discord channel about it. Sam said, "OHI still looks ok". That stuck in my head. I thought perhaps I made a mistake. One could argue that perhaps I did exit too early. AFterall my idea is to trade STRESS FREE. Leave Stop loss at hte bottom of Wave 4 and don't mess about until either SL is hit or price moves in my favour at least 1R. So I'm going to learn from my mistake and start to follow my trade more accurately. Embarrassingly I'm acting like Stage 1 Traders.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KEEP A JOURNAL
HAD NOT KEPT THIS PUBLIC I'D HAVE IGNORED IT. ALMOST HIDDEN THIS MISTAKE FROM MY OWN SELF. BIG FAT DS0

£40 Dividend Profit from OHI
So I received around £40 dividend Profits from holding OHI. But I exited it with 30 quid loss. Had I noticed that I had already profited from it, I'd have kept this position.

Points to Remember:
Rule 1:
Don't Login to Account During Off Hours.
Only Check Charts during Set hours once a day. It should be a set time in your schedule.
Rule 2:
Don't exit trades before the Candle has been Closed. NEVER MARKET ORDER EXIT.
Rule 3:
Exit Position by Getting Stopped out ONLY. Follow rule 2.
This can be either the Initial Stop Loss (loss) or Trailing Stop Loss using Box Trail or Green Line or a Predefined Take Profit level.
(best to stick to GREEN LINE)

Quick Summary of the 4 Weeks
Breakeven for the first 4 weeks of Trading the Stocks ...
[13:14]
the Risk on CBRE was disproportional to the rest of the trades and the positions on Empire State and Infu system were too small. Two Huge Mistakes.
I have to conquer this too.
Stocks is NEW To me... remember I'm learning like all of you.
The Irony however is that all 4 losing trades were exited prematurely. I obviously have to work on that.[13:14]
