Inadis's T20 trading journal

Unread post by JohnH »

Hello I’m a IT engineer from South London who has retail traded on and off for over 5yrs I signed up a week ago, I have decided for the first time to start a journal, I’m not new to the idea of system trading but by joining the group I believe I have an opportunity to overcome my indiscipline and improve my consistency.

I want to trade the DAX and possibly WALL ST.

Hey Inadis

Not sure if that's your name but hey anyway...

I can assure you that you have taken the FIRST step towards becoming a better trader. I was listening to a trading psychologist earlier today and I would like to echo those words here. It is all about the HABITS we form and the habits we like to get rid of. Discipline is a nasty word to some or maybe most hence why we ought to change its meaning to us. We are here to write a journal so that we can a) identify our bad habits and b) replace them with good ones

The Hardest thing is to actually take the time off and DO THE PROCESS OF RECORDING your posts... It's relatively easier to become a better trader but perhaps harder to follow a routine of "journaling" your trades ... Most people are too shy to share their trades and mistakes. We ought to get over that shit. Accept that we are all equal here and we all need to learn (including me). I have recently had these feelings of "being a complete" noob last couple of weeks and I am going to do a video about it perhaps tomorrow. I have all the slides ready.

I wish you all the best!!!  :dog

This trade is a Breath of Fresh Air... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh  :wd Sadly you're right... it is a DS0 because NOT the strict Setup 1 you ought to be taking in Stage 1. Remember its a challenge to find out if you are a disciplined trader or not. Can you follow your rules?

Just so that you know... This is NOT a setup one on the TTF (assuming S12 was your trading time frame.). However, it was a good ready on the market. :)
