T20 first batch - Minsk

I wanted to trade on 1H chart but it takes a long time to set up, and most of the time things happen when I am in bed and I miss setups. 
So decided to trade the 15m chart instead. I use TradingView so no red/blue dot indicators. Sadly.


Batch 1 - Trade 1

DS: 80% ?  Not 100% because I was a tad early entering.  Setup 1 in my understanding. Purple far enough away. Open alligator, trade away from purple, box was narrow enough.I got the break of the box slightly off, sometimes hard to see. I was a tad early. Entered on 3807.97, should have entered on 3805.03.  SL was on 3830.61 top level of box.
Exit at 3727.03, SL got hit. Moved SL couple of times to follow candles down.

Edited: I see now that I should have SL maybe less tight, that would have gotten me more profit. Just papertrading.

I have some doubts if this is a Setup 1 or Setup 0. Purple is in the box. I suppose it's Setup 0.
horizontal lines in purple are entry, SL, TP.

Immy, the gator was open at the moment of entering. Should have been closed for being Setup1. Correct?

Alligator asleep, red and green entangled.
Entry candle is inside Aims box levels. Tight Box.
Purple is below and outside Aims box, quite some distance actually.
AO is close to ZL.
Limit entry placed. Hit in the candle after the blue arrow.
Expected exit when red candle closes below green alligator line. Or candle chasing. 

Aggressive candles to the upside appear, so candle chasing for TP.
TP got hit in 2nd red candle down. 

Reflections:Was this a Setup 1?  I think so. Checked 1H chart and Alligator was open to the upside there. So in my eyes this was a trade.One could debate over the EW3 in the AO. Was it the green or the red mountain? Almost no difference in height. This green mountain I traded on could maybe also have been the EW-A after the EW1-5. I did expect to end up higher for TP.

DS: 100% this time.
Total DS: (0 + 0.4 + 1) /3 = 0.47

Edited: even the 15m chart is most days too slow. Setups don't appear that often, and still in the middle of the night.
I will finish this 1st batch of 20 trades on 15m timeframe. But think of changing to smaller timeframe after that to have more candles and thus more chances of a setup.

I was up late, so I looked at the charts.
And I saw a Setup1 on Luna.

Alligator asleep, red, green and blue entangled.
Entry candle is inside Aims box levels. Tight Box.
Purple is below and outside Aims box.
AO is close to ZL.
Trading rules say Target for TP at 2R. So placed a TP sell order there. And went to bed.
I did expect this to go higher than 2R, to GP between 96.10 and 96.81. Let’s see tomorrow. 

Reflections:
It was kind of scary to go sleep with an open order, even with SL en TP orders placed, and papertrading. Is this a violation of the trading rules? Can’t find anything about that.
When I  looked at the chart next morning, the 2R target had already been hit.
 
It feels sort of I loose out on the trade, as I see it going al the way up to the zone I projected and even higher. I missed out on that big part of the run upwards.

It’s a good day today, as I see a possible Setup1 getting close the moment I turn on my screen.

AO is close to ZL.
Exit at 2R. So placed a sell order there. Extended Fib tool shows GP at a level lower than 2R. Is this a stupid trade? Is this against trading rules? It is against common sense. I’ll take it, let’s see how it plays out. 

Reflections:
I suppose I should not have taken this trade. The odds were against it, and I knew before I placed it.
It has started going down before hitting 2R.
Also, I think it would have been smarter to move the SL up, so I could not end up in a loss, but break even in worst case. I didn't move my SL up.
This was not a smart trade. Learn and live.

You can't make a judgment about lack of setups on the 15-minute time frame yet. You started on the 15th, and only 5 days later, you are complaining aboutsetups. I have spent 10 days without a trade on the m1 chart. Don't forget this is is December. Traders like myself are usually off from last week, until the next week of January.

I saw a possible entry at the purple arrow, didn’t take it because of the box being too wide, and blue wasn’t entangled. Waited for a bit. Another better option presented itself in a tighter box and blue was entangled too.

You're right, I totally forgot about the time of year. I admit patience is not my strongest feat
