Hello everyone!

I'm David from the USA. I've been trading for a few years with only limited success, and I've learned that keeping a trading journal is essential. Honestly, I've never kept a journal before, so this will be a new experience for me. I'm ready to give it a try—it may be a little rough at first, but I'm hoping to get the hang of it and see the progress over time.

I've just completed Stage 1 of training and am now set to start my trading batches. My trading hours are quite limited at the moment, as the London Open falls around 1 pm my time.

One question I have (and I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask) is: Can trades be placed at any time a signal appears, or is it best to focus on trading during the Open?

I'll be journaling my trades for USD/JPY on the M5 chart, starting on a demo account. Looking forward to meeting everyone here and sharing ideas and experiences.
