Hi All, I introduced myself as a new member last week and here I pledge to post all of my trades in a similar format to that used by Grant and Immy. Today 9 Jan I did not take any since I was absent from the screen for most of the afternoon.

Good decision - nothing has made me more disciplined than the knowledge that I'm going to stick all my trades up on here.

Re: Nigel's Journal
Hi Nigel!
You'd soon realise that this was probably the best decision of your life! A journal, not to show off, not to impress yourself or others, but purely to record your trades. You will find that you learn so much about yourself during this simple process. It is truly amazing tool! a simple one. Try to record your thoughts about each trade why you took it, what you missed and then what was the hindsight information. If you're still struggling with the "the mind" side that is "emotions are getting the better of the power of the mind" it would be best to record your emotions, e.g. i had this churning feeling in my tummy, my heart was beating faster etc. these are really things to look at and master! you'd notice that if you focus on your racing heart beat, your heart beat might suddenly normalise itself. On of the best technique is to just focus on your breathing! and 80% of stress disappears!
cheers - May the pips be with you!

Re: Nigel's Journal
Hi Nigel
it would help if you add your trade entry and exit levels using either of the two ways below:
1. Use price labels from the toolbars at the top in mt4. see below 2. Drag and drop from the Terminal Window using the Account History Tab
