Tofy's Journal

I am not sure what wrong with this trade.
Would appreciate any feedback and comment.

Thank you!

1st trade of the day.

-4 pips.

1) Alligator awake. Both M1 and M5 open upwards. Setup 2.
2) AO close to ZL. Purple Line correct.
3) Exit close
4) M5 box over 5pips so took M1 AIMS level.

Hi Tofy

I saw this setup but for me the AO on 1 min chart had divergence and was looking pretty old since last cross of the zero line so didn't take the trade.

Also on your 5 min chart you have a stochastic indicator showing 5 min is over bought which would also suggest waiting before taking a long trade.

Hope this helps

Morning,

Mike is right about the AO on your first entry, on your short entry m5 and m15 aims levels were just under your PO so i passed on this trade...

The long was a good entry and of course Sods Law says you werent at your screens. Dont panic and start chasing entries the next set up will be along soon...

cheers

3rd trade of the day

+10 pips.

Could have bagged more pips.
But I was too conservative - after paying too much rent these 2 days.

I saw your other trades. If this is your start then in a month or two you'll be teaching me

moreover, the red dot had broken aims already so we were supposed to trade Setup 2. Which is why I took the break of m5 when setup 2 was confirmed!

cheers

May the pips be with you

Immy, I was looking forward to your comments on my trades.

Sorry I don't really understand what you mean.
Do you mean my 3rd trade of the day is supposed to be setup2 (alligator awake)?

If its a setup 2 (assuming I follow Grant's flow chart), does that mean I'm supposed to check for fresh AIMS level after the dot?
Also... M5 AIMS box is bigger than M1 AIMS box, should I should take the break of M5?
