Immy the m5 purple line was above but the m1 was below.....I thought it was close enough so went long from m1 signal. Was this correct or should I have waited for price to cross m5 purple line?

Dane, if you check my journal I have posted a chart already. I took it, and took less pips than you. The purple was not a problem on m5. purple is the red line of m5. we dont want to go against the purple of our time frame, but m5 is ok. though if you restrict yourself, and it becomes part of your plan, than you will be trading only in the direction of the m5 and m30ish charts. I think form 1, m5 alligator is enough. At expert level you dont even need the purple, but why mess with it if it works!
cheers

Re: Dane's Trade Journal
Cherry +2 pips. (.12%) Started trailing pretty soon after entry because market seemed choppy and it was close to my cutoff time.
Trading NYO/NEO mostly. Will try and stay up next week for LO.

Re: Dane's Trade Journal
Hi Dane,
great that you're updating your journal now :-bd :-bd :-bd
One small suggestion according display of trades:
Simply open terminal window (CTRL+t), then go to "Account History" tab, then drag and drop trades from terminal window onto charts. There they are displayed with entries, exits, SLs and TPs. Much easier to analyse trades afterwards.
Well done, keep it on. Simply follow flow chart and, as Immy always says, trade towards TZ1 ;-)
Cheers Michael

Re: Dane's Trade Journal
Thanks much Michael. I will do that from now on. My one small trade from today was just +2 pips. TZ1 was really close (not showing on chart now because I saved late I think) and I got what looked liked a good fruit signal in the opposite direction. So I exited with a small profit.
I don't trade fruit. Intrigued by them :-B
Thanks again, appreciate the help.

Re: Dane's Trade Journal
Thanks Nikita I am actually a member of the chatroom. Immy and the rest of you are a wealth of knowledge, I agree....Not in the best time zone however for LO and FO so usually not on then. I am going to try and get some trading in this week at LO. See if I can stay up....I read through the chats at the end of the day to see what I missed.
Take care
